Colour burst crochet table topper

This post is long overdue, very long. I finished this table topper a day before Christmas. I started it on a whim. I didn't have any need for a new table topper but I wanted something for myself and I wanted it to be very colourful.
I didn't have any particular pattern in mind. I just picked up some random colours and went ahead crocheting round after round and stopped when I got bored. Now, I don't know if I should call it an incomplete project because it is not big enough for my round coffee table and I am not interested in adding any more rounds.

I may add a few more rounds in white or any other single color but it is definitely not going to happen any time soon.

Beautiful roses, aren't they?
Last week was a special one for me with my wedding anniversary and birthday just a couple of days apart. Hubby gifted me something which I had been wishing for for quite some time.

A sewing machine!
I have never used a sewing machine before and I am looking forward to learning some basic sewing projects.

Slouchy beanies

It is past my bedtime and my eyelids feel so heavy but I wanted to introduce my new patterns, so I am going to keep it really short. In spite of crocheting and designing plenty of hats it never occured to me to design a slouchy hat. Now that I have designed two I am really loving it. So it's going to be only slouchy beanies for a few more days.

The green one has a beautiful shell trim and would make a fabulous fashion accessory. The chocolate brown one is a unisex hat. You can wear it with a slouch or just roll up the trim and wear it without a slouch. Either way it looks wonderful. The patterns are available in my Etsy, Ravelry and Craftsy stores.

I have something else to show you, so will be back soon.  Have a great day!
