Waterworld ripple baby blanket

I hope you all had a wonderful, fun-filled Easter celebration. My parents are visiting us and I am hardly getting any hooky time. I am hugely relieved that my waterworld baby blanket pattern is out. I had been holding it for a quite a long time. Though it was fun working the ripples, I had a difficult time deciding upon the appliques. Initially I had planned to make two or three big ships along with the sun but was not satisfied with the way the ships turned out. So made a lighthouse and a sail boat instead and added the fish and seaweeds.

It is so brightly coloured and I am sure any child would love it. It would also make a wonderful tapestry on the nursery wall, wouldn't it?

The pattern is available for purchase as instant downloads at my Etsy, Craftsy and Ravelry stores.
Don't forget to follow me at my new blog. There are so many interesting links waiting to be shared with you.
Have a happy week ahead!
